State News from our Legislative Representative

Well , Peo-Taz members, it's that time of year! We are getting ready for this seminar down in Springfield. This is where you learn how to really get involved in what you can really do! This year's legislative cycle promises to bring many challenges from waymo taxis to the helmet law. Trying to be enforced upon us again, which is unconstitutional by the Illinois Supreme Court. But yet, legislators would try and fool you.... And stick it to you anyway! Rights that our constuon, federal, as well as state guarantee certain things... in those lines, in those documents... and as we see more and more, we are having to take the fight to our representatives to keep those things, because they would be swayed in the belief that one person's thought in theory on something...should be...that for all!

The right to pursue life, liberty and happiness is ingrained in our constitutional documents, but just like maintaining your motorcycle, you have to maintain those rights and freedoms from those who would take it away from you, just like we hang a bell from the booms of our motorcycles to ward off evil road spirits, we must ever fight to ward off those who would take away our freedom of choice and way of life!

This proves to be a tough legislative cycle as there are going to be elections and changes for sure. There are always people trying to curb things their way.

It is time to get informed and get involved and put your boots on the ground!! This is twenty twenty six and the fight is on!!!!!
